Androgenetic alopecia<\/b> (also known as baldness) is a condition of lack of hair, total or partial. There are different scales to measure the extent of baldness; we mention two:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Hamilton scale
\n\u2022 Norwood scale<\/p>\n
People belonging to level 1 of the Hamilton scale are those who do not suffer from baldness. Androgenetic alopecia or common baldness, is a thinning of the front-occipital hair, due to the miniaturization of the stem. As a type of alopecia it is the most common: affects men and women of all races, with different severity.<\/p>\n
It is more common in Caucasians and usually affects men and not women. In other ethnic groups it is less present. It does not affect the eunuchs.<\/p>\n
