Esophagitis may be caused by poisoning due to caustics, fungal infections (candidiasis), viral and bacterial infections, especially in immunocompromised patients, and radiotherapy that causes, as a side effect, rays esophagitis.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">But the most common cause is gastroesophageal reflux due to the inability of the lower esophageal sphincter to prevent reflux of gastric juices, which has an irritating and detrimental effect on the esophageal mucosa; esophagitis occurs when the defense mechanisms of the esophagus are no longer sufficient to buffer the acidity of the refluxed stomach contents.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Other causes of esophagitis are Crohn&#8217;s disease and ulcerative esophagitis idiopathic, herpetic esophagitis, chronic venous stasis and traumatic agents such as intubation.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Gastritis is an inflammation of the gastric mucosa; there are several causes that lead to this manifestation and there are countless types thereof, divided into the two traditional types: acute and chronic gastritis.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The irritable colon syndrome is a functional gastrointestinal disorder characterized by abdominal pain and altered intestine activity in the absence of a specific and unique organic pathology.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Hemorrhoids are vascular tissue bearings that play an important role in maintaining fecal continence. They are normal components and physiological structures of the anal canal and are composed of vascular tissue that contains a high number of anastomosed arteriovenous structures, and of connective tissues with a high content of elastic fibers and collagen.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The anal fissure is a linear ulceration of the anus, located mainly in the posterior midline. Only a few millimeters long, it is situated on the border between the dentate line and the skin of the anoderma.
