Phase I: The Preliminary Examination

The preliminary examination with the collection of medical history and evaluation of the tests already carried out in the past.

To the traditional examination we add the Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis that, through the analysis of body composition (fat mass, lean mass and water), determines the state of health of the connective matrix and the possible need to lose weight and how much, the analysis of the oxidative stress and the evaluation of the state of health of the bones.

The last two tests are made either during the first examination or after.

Phase II: The Prescription

Drug therapy is always an integration between conventional medicine and academic homotoxicology, low dose medicine, nutritional supplements where necessary. Acupuncture can be suggested to the patient.

The Pnei System uses the best possible strategy for the patient without any exclusion or prejudice. The ten-year experience of Prof. Maria Corgna allows her to move easily across the therapeutic techniques. Each patient is given various information during the examination and is suggested the best diet, suitable to the treatment, considering that most of the immune system takes place right in the intestine and no therapy can ever be complete unless food is not carefully taken into consideration.

Movement is the third important pillar of the PNEI System method:  an ideal strategy is agreed between doctor and each patient according to age, ability and opportunity. If necessary, the patient is directed to the pnei4u osteopaths should there be posture problems, pain or contractures that restrict freedom of movement.

Finally, from the first meeting Professor Corgna suggests to the PNEI patients simple strategies and simple exercises that make them keep his mood “up” as much as possible and especially help them believe in the possibility of improving / healing, focusing their attention on the healing and not on the disease.

Where necessary, Professor Corgna, expert in NLP, Neuro Associative Conditioning, Autogenic Training, Ericksonian Hypnosis and other modern optimization strategies of the “situation” will suggest some ad hoc sessions to improve the psycho-emotional healing, which is of fundamental importance for the healing.
